Baby, it’s cold outside… do you have an indoor studio for our session?
I am a natural light photographer, meaning I shoot with the light the sun provides for me. I think natural light is so soft, beautiful and flattering. Also, natural light is where my skills are most proficient. So no, I do not have an artificial light studio, but for cold or rainy days I am more than happy to photograph your session in your home using your lovely window light.
How far in advance do you book?
I book sessions during the months of March through November. I can book in December as long as the weather permits. I prefer for clients to book at least 3 weeks prior to their session date to allow for adequate session planning time and to allow you to take full advantage of the Carmen Reese Photography experience.
Do you offer digital files?
Of course! All of my collections include digital files (starting at $250) and professional prints so you can get the best of both worlds.
How far do you travel?
For customized session locations and newborn sessions, I will not travel more than 40 minutes from my home in the Huntersville, NC, unless for very special circumstances. If you are from outside of my zone, you are more than welcome to visit me in the Mecklenburg County. I would love to photograph you here!
Do you ever need models?
Yes I do, I’m always creating. I may put out a casting call on my Facebook FanPage and Blog.
Will you help us decide what to wear?
Wardrobe is a very important element of creating stunning portraits and it is discussed during our pre-session planning.
How long does it take to get our pictures back?
We will schedule your Session Premiere date two weeks following your session.
When will we be able to see an image?
I sometimes post sneak peeks within 7-9 days after your session. If you do not see a sneak peek from your session on FB or on my blog, please do not feel that it is because I do not love your images. It is because I am working hard during the busy season (spring through fall) and I usually catch up on blogging when my schedule slows down a bit.
Can we include the family pet in our session?
Of course!! I love incorporating such an important part of the family into a session! This being said, you must bring a leash for your dog and you must keep the dog leashed or in your vehicle during the session. We will bring out your dog at the end of your session where I will photograph you snuggling & playing with him/her.
